  • Very very good Dhamma talk."Sādhu! Sādhu! Sādhu!"

  • you sure? investigate why theravada is also mentioned as 'hinayana', it's a pejorative term.

  • it's not a right way to give such embarrasing comments... I'm not impress with ur comments on '' kamma of his deception takes fruition soon'... i think u're the one without proper understanding... i cant understand a buddhist could have said this.

  • @aloozer if v dont start with 'hinayana' how can v cultivate to have deeper self understanding and becoming 'selfless'? then move out to help educate others like the mahayans.i find mahayana personally, far too much for a lay person to go in depth. v gets into wrong percepts, if not careful. v need to first develop the most and furthers in ourselves first b4 v move out of 'self'. i have read and listen to many talks but i learn deeper about buddhism from ven. dhamma voddho's on cds.

  • So true the words you speak Venerable Dhammavuddho. This is exactly why I want to become a bhikku. How long have we all been swimming in samsara? Fighting and feuding over such little things. May we all find the true dhamma and realize the deathless. Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!

  • You have got to be kidding, 310851o. Ven. Dhammavuddho is repeating the words of the Buddha Himself. Apparently you would have the Buddha Himself defrocked and excommunicated.

  • This monk is right.

  • If there is a Theravada Sangha Council in Malaysia, like in Thailand, this 'monk' could have being defrock already. This 'monk' may have read alot of texts on Buddhism, though without proper understanding, to impress devotees. My sympathy to those devotees who go to his monastery in Temoh, Malaysia, especially the ladies who vulnerable to his articulation. May the Kamma of his deception takes fruition soon before devootees at his monastery are being exploited.

  • This is very true!!!

  • This is a very interesting exchange of ideas and in some manner is very healthy. All I can comment on that the Thataghata is our teacher and when The Buddha achieved nibbana we are told to take his teaching as the guide. The difference between d 3 main sect is like the icing on top of the cake. The cake itself remains the same. We should all look at us and not Mahayana, Theravada, Zen and etc. We are also encourage to question the according to the Suttas.

  • Both Mahayana and Theravada are both teaching of the Buddha. That is what I'm telling you guys. Critising Mahayana is just as good as critising Buddha's teaching. Don't say I didn't warning you guys.
