@tommo77 one team haha best played for something like 7 clubs the given it up at 26 is a myth he retired then came back a few months later and had another 2 years at man utd so he had 9 great years at man utd in total great years then 2 where there was problems, but both are great but best edges it

Kenny was 3 moves ahead of the rest of the guys on the pitch, think it was against Spain he scored a goal where he sold 4 markers on a wee move and ball was in back of the net.
My boyhood hero, my favourite Celt ever !!the original King of Kings ( sorry Henrik) and the only reason that I took on Liverpool as my English team. he made the Kop say Kevin who??? thats how good he was and thats not meant to be a shot at Keegan not being great. Paisley replaced greatness with even better greatness

a brilliant video - fitting for the King! I remember when he signed for Liverpool and my brother said Liverpool were getting a better player than Keegan who had gone to Hamburg. Boy, was he right! He had watched Kenny play for Celtic!

He was ridiculously brilliant. I'm a Celtic fan- just want to say that Scotland produced some great players in the 60s, 70s and 80s. The man himself; Jinky; Cooper; Law; Bremner; McGrain; Souness; 'Coisty...we used tae be guid at fitba :) Peace and all good wishes to my Blue cousins. Enjoy the title celebrations.

these days the "great footabllers" would just kick the ball away and run into defenders and win freekicks/ penalties. king kenny would slice the ball away and the defender would never even be able to touch him

Dalglish was the greatest player to come out of the British Isles..! 2nd to no-one.. Best was great, but he gave it up at 26 so has no right to have the tag as the best..! He also played with one team in one league - Dalglish done it in two and won everything.!
Kenny Dalglish respeceted football, what it gave him, the fans and his team mates, Best could only give a toss about himself and what was in it for him.!
