@TheBrad654321 Key word ~ "seemed" beautiful.... in the moment Peter's choice to deny Jesus was more beautiful than saying "yes" (to him). Beautiful = more desirable "human" option. Are we guilty of doing the same? Luckily, this wasn't the end of Peter's story as Satan had asked Jesus if he could "sift Peter as wheat"... The Devil always has to ask permission to tempt us and God give him as so-called "leash" in certain situations. After all Jesus is Lord is in control....
