I play it through once slowly, then up to speed

I learned this tune from Paul McGrattan's album "The Frost is all Over"; Paul calls it the Mayo Reel. It is also played by Eamonn Cotter, who calls it Mary O'Neill

  • oh i had no idea.. same fingerings as the whistle? haha might have to pick me up one of these. heard they're expensive though.

  • thanks im waiting for my pvc irish flute i know it doesnt sound as good as wooden but its just fine now im practicing my tin whistle its a clarke trad in D
