I watched all your videos in a day and a half. The amount of respect I have for you, your research and your efforts is incredible. I hope everyone of you took away something big from this project, that will change the course of your lives.

I can see you are getting an excellent response and I may have commented here already, but just to make sure : great thing you did, guys. Going back to the roots can never not bring positives and in this case you, having documented your experience in a lovely manor, are giving so many people a chance to see and be inspired by it. Greetings from Bulgaria ;)
Oh and Anthony's family might just be the most adorable thing I've seen .♥

Incredible project, good way on transmitting a way of life so different from the 1st world life. I would recommend this video to anyone who has an interest in knowing what real poverty is. Even well-off people in third world countries can learn from this video.

All I can say is GOD BLESS you guys!!
My wife coming from a similar life in
El Salvador was touched by these videos.

how come you guys have done a video in awhile?
I feel spoiled and winy now. You guys found the courage to take action. What these people go through it's tough, and our media just shows the tragic situation without any action. Money nees to be distributed more fairly. Well done guys, excellent project! I would be very glad if you could tell me the details of the journey, so that when I graduate I can follow a similar example?

I'm leaning towards taking a year/semester off of college to do some immersion type of research/experience like you guys.

@carlos95110 I would highly suggest it. I differed my acceptance to Claremont McKenna for a year to travel and work, and it changed it my life. Through my travels, I became interested in development, applied for a job with Grameen America, and have been working with Microfinance ever since! It definitely helped inspire this project and gave me some of the skills to endure through it and make the most of the research. - Chris

You need to kill that chicken and eat it or breed it so you don't have to eat those disgusting black beans.

@raykj07 Haha great advice! I tried convincing the others to use our microfinance loan to raise chickens, but noooo, they insisted on radishes...
