AGTV Episode 2: Guidance for Homeowners (Part 2 of 3)

On the second episode of AGTV: On the Record with Martha Coakley, Attorney General Coakley and her guests focus on issues related to homeownership. In the first segment, Attorney General Coakley and her guests, Retired Bankruptcy Judge Carol Kenner and Assistant Attorney General David Monahan, offer guidance for struggling homeowners. They discuss such topics as loan modification options, the Obama Administrations Making Home Affordable program, and how to identify and avoid loan modification scams. In the second segment, the focus shifts to prospective homeowners, and specifically first-time buyers. The guests, Assistant Attorney General Christopher Barry-Smith and Michelle Meisier of the Allston Brighton Community Development Corporation, discuss the various loan products available to prospective buyers and the important of homeownership education.
