continued: but of course, they would never do the same for women.
Almost no men are violent. Or sexually violent. Or among the ownership class.
Politicians serve the powerful voters. Businessmen serve the powerful consumers(80% of wealth is spent by women. Earning = temporarily holding onto goods and services.) The media serves the viewers and readers - but advertising's domination of the media tilts it to serve the consumers.
We have been living in a matriarchy for a long time now.
The amount of messages boys receive regarding their inferiority to girls in society are astronomical. Their decades-long continuous decline of boys in school is apparently not critical to all those with hate in their hearts. Neither are the suicide rates, homelessness rates, short life expectancy, depression rates, job injuries, violence victims - all mostly men.
Those with hate in their hearts develop indifference to this by painting men as a monolithic entity and just blame men for it all.
To make it clear to all the dumb people - yes. This commercial is funny.
That's not the point.
The point is that the reverse is done at 0.005% the frequency. But you female supremacists and white knight traitors are too indoctrinated to see that.
I'm sorry but this commercial if hysterical. Not because the parent's favor the daughter so obviously, but just because it is something me and my siblings would laugh about if my parents did it. Obviously this isn't going to be a "how to" for parents who decide to NOT get U-Verse. Btw to those who didn't get it...the commercial was advertising that WITH U-Verse this wouldn't be an issue. It's directed toward other tv & internet companies! Calm down people! It's not like someone is shooting you.
What happened to everyone's sense of humor? It's not intended to be a parenting how-to video, its supposed to grab ones attention with humor... Something I think think it does very well. *SMH* at all this misplaced outrage.
This commercial is terrible! What was AT&T and the marketing company thinking? This proves how little companies look at their image! There is nothing funny about this commercial. This has NOTHING to do with their products and services. It's just rude and distasteful. There was a Farmers commercial where the kid jerked the keys out of his fathers hands. That part of the commercial has been cut! So disappointing to see how little class and dignity remains in TV today.
@photo2c calm down...i think it's horrible too but i don't think getting angry over people who have a different opinion is worth it because like i said it's part of life.point your anger at the people who made this commercial and thought it was ok...
*The* decades long

Boy and man bashing on television would be fine, if the reverse would be done as well.
Of course, with the epic prevalence of female-chauvinist-pigs in the west, that would never happen.
Male victims = funny.
female victims = offensive. And always followed by comeuppance to the aggressor.

Just a new take on the anti-male ads we see everywhere, but instead of the dumb dad, it's the son. You'd never see this ad the other way around.
