www.ProGuitarShop.com - MJM Dallas Boost Pedal

The Dallas Boost was designed by MJM Guitar Fx to utilize the natural overdrive of your tube amplifier and boost that into more saturation. The MJM Dallas Boost is a very natural sounding Treble Booster pedal with a slight bit of grit for taking an already overdriven amp into full on lead saturation, or pushing an amp over the edge into howling overdrive with its single Germanium Transistor. The Bright/Dark switch is perfect for matching up to humbuckers or single coils. The MJM Dallas Boost is perfect for cutting lead tones or crunchy rhythm for any style of music.
MJM Dallas Boost Features * True Bypass * Bright/Dark Switch

  • @ramonaHQ sure! train kept a rooling!!

  • Wonder how this would sound stacked with a Germanium London Fuzz

  • are mjm effecys made in Canada?

  • @jaybals I second that !

  • @pinoygotryce One vision - Queen

  • Yardbirds at 2:44?

  • Best treblebooster I ever owned!

  • I'd like to hear this with a Vox AC30, such an awsome tone Andy gets out of it on the Deluxe Reverb!

But i hear the AC30 likes to eat Treble boosters for breakfast, and shit out mind melting tone

  • Yeah, these treble boosters are no joke. I've had an Analog Man Beano Boost (NKT275 tranny) for a good 3 years, but I didn't get around to trying it onstage until about a week ago. Holy crap! I assumed it wouldn't work well with my Fender Hot Rod Dlx, but boy, was I wrong. My only issue is this: When you have the Beano's gain turned up to 2:00 or higher, it's too-big of a volume-boost if you're using the amp's clean-tone as your clean-rhythm sound and planning on using the Beano for leads only.

  • Many, many great players used Dallas treble boosters back in the day and even guy's that used Fuzz Faces where mainly using them as boosts as well, with the fuzz all the way down and the level the whole way up. The Dallas cuts through way better then any Fuzz Face though, and this MJM version is killer! Can do 60's and 70's without changing pedal's.
