Just for fun, I decided to give this one a spin. This is one of the first Iron Maiden songs any fan learns, and it is found on their self-titled first album. It is not quite the steel-gauntlet power metal the band became known for, but it has its own groove (and I can play it with finger plucking).
If you like Paul Dianno Maiden, this is a good one. The song has an easy riff and a few little surprises that makes the song ideal for a beginning bass player to develop some chops.
As you can see, my cat decided to settle down on the couch for the afternoon and is visible behind my head in the entire video. Apparently, C-D-E progressions lull him into slumber.

This is not the first video I watch of you playing, I really like the fact that you don't just play the original part as it was written but you add some personal improvisations or even simple touches with the other strings!!! :D

Just a lot of gain...but on a Rick it growls like distortion.
