who says he's on acid?

Seems lucid to me. Seems like he's just having fun putting one over on us.

Good for him!!!! He's doing just what Harvey Pekar did to Dave, but in the opposite way. Harvey was ultimate truth. Crispin was ultimate satire.

he was obviously in character, but the weird thing is he refuses to explain why he was "acting" like he was fucked up. hes dressed exactly like Rubin from Rubin and Ed, but Rubin doesn't stutter and have a hard time constructing sentences like in this interview. he had to be high on something.

I think he may have said he was in character later but he seems genuinly confused, either that or hes done acid a lot and remembers the trip.
