@donmaksimous you dont pay much attention do you? the UN didnt partition anything, the Jews declared Israel a state and the UN held a vote on whether to reckognize Israel as a state or not. and obviously the outcome was to reckognize Israel as a state.

I'm just wondering, who is the UN and other countries to decide weather Palestine should be divided or not?! Palestine is an independent state, since when do independent countries' destinies are determined by votes of other countries!?

The Arabs delegations to the UN didn't care about the voting.

They thought they will just commit a second Holocaust on the Jews and take everything they built (state-of-the-art farms, towns and villages, the modern city of Tel-Aviv, the Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem, stores and factories ).
