Jericho Eagles in Winter

Wild bald eagles mates settle in for the usual winter nesting season at Jericho Park in Vancouver, BC. Clear blue skies make for some good footage.

Oh this is great now a question when you have time, do you think there will be a cam. I know I read that they were thinking about putting one up? thank you for braving the cold to get such great video's to share.

@jannicemull no new cam can be installed at any bald eagles' nest on the west coast for the coming season because the eagles are back. that kind of work can only happen between September and the end of October when the eagles are away. If they see someone monkeying around they will abandon the territory. I know that David (Hancock) was considering putting a cam on this nest a year or so ago but there was a problem getting funding. Just maintaining the cams he already has is expensive enough!
