@tremayne6489 I agree, but when you're on an easier rapid in a kayak you have to play around to make it more fun. Boof lines, go down it backwards, whatever does it for ya.

if you've got the skills for open canoe it's more enjoyable kayaks make all but the hardest rapids boring
it's true that you can't do loops but you can do enders!

You would be surprised if you took the time to learn what open canoes are capable of before doubting the ability of both the craft and the paddlers.

we take both kayakers and canoers on the Week of Rivers with Costa Rica Rios and they all have a great time whatever their choice of craft is. Check out our kayaking videos on youtube too.
