Jorge-Alonso Chehade was born in Peru and brought to the U.S. when he was 14 years old. He finished high school and graduated from the School of Business at the University of Washington state.

Alonso is undocumented and he faces deportation if he doesn't leave the country before September 25, 2009. You can help by co signing a letter by U.S. Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell's wrote on behalf of Jorge-Alonso Chehade:

Also, you can contact your Congress member and demand support for the DREAM Act, which would allow undocumented students to study in colleges and pursuit a better education and a path for citizenship.

  • Didn't you tell him that all he has to do is ignore the order and move? Maybe steal someone's social security number?

  • oh yeah he has 48 hours, hope he can stay, as long as you don't have a crimal record i don't see what the problem is. i know theres a time when they have to close the doors but there should be some exceptions
