  • G'day 64ehprem, can you give me the paint code for your eh if it's the original colour, if you still have her ? Thanks and she sounds beautiful !

  • @holdenreds on the EH car club of Queensland the paint code shows up as 5097 - Roebuck Pearl matt. There is of course different depth of paint (lighter/darker etc). Yeah I still have it, hasn't been driven in a few years though as it needs a full rebuild. Not happy with the way the body is, motor is tired. Give it a few years or so and i'll have it rebuilt though

  • ive got a 66 hr prem (186 slug)and i want to do the same thing to that. be pretty shit hot i reckon.youd be suprised man its not that expensive.

  • I looked at CRS and they had the front end mods for about 6 grand I think. Then get disc brake rear end (2200), chassis connectors (3500), rack and pinion (2000), HQ discs on the front, rims (cos of different stud patten n bigger discs). I roughly priced mine for around 35k, full rebuild. Compared to a new car, its pretty good like you said.

  • nice car mate.gunna drop an 8 in there?

  • I wanted to do an LS1 or LS2 conversion but dont have the funds anymore now that I bought the ute

  • maiden nice hahaha

  • up the maiden!

  • nice car mate, looks real good.

  • I never ever gave a fuck about holdens ever in my life, especially old ones. Then I bought a 1973 Land Rover that had a Red 202 dropped into it to replace the LR engine. Ever since then I've had a monumental amount of respect for these old Holdies. Such a fantastic engine. Reliable, sounds great, easy to work on and just classic.

  • Sound of ya car is bloody music to my ears! GO EH's

  • run to the hills haha great song.

    great eh mate.
