This video was taken at a recent get together of some of the Perth HO Slot Car Group. Since we had a chance to play with these cars we thought we would put together a video showing off the handling of the cars, not our racing style. Tjets are popular within the group as the lack of traction magnets mean they require more driving than the faster stick down cars. Perth HO Slot Car Group is a group of Slot Car enthusiasts who get together regularly on members home tracks to race all types of HO Slot Cars.

I've only just recently purshced some AFX track and am looking at getting a 4 lane set up for me and the kids to use. That track was awesome, good racing :)

Dig that groovy HO drifting, man! I was into AFX and Tyco a few years ago. I found that, for the most part, AFX "Magna-Traction" didn't, though that made them interesting compared to the grippier cars. I also found Tyco HP-7 cars were not happy on our AFX track; perhaps they work better on Tyco track. Favourites were AFX Super G+Plus and Tyco Magnum 440 X2.

Outstanding! Watching this video makes me want to go to the local home improvement store and start banging away. This is just like when I was growing up in the 70s. If Im ever in Australia, Ill stop by with my non-magna-traction AFX cars. Keep up the fun work!

Sweet footage. While not HO, you might be interested in my brothers slot car track. We're in Perth too... search for copper mill raceway on youtube.

awesome. makes me want to go to bunningz and get some ood and makes some tables then go to toys r us and get a slot car track and bunch of cars.
