Next time you think life is unfair because you're flipping burgers for money or cramming for an exam... Please spare a thought for the thousands of kids in poverty -like these- who are forced to do grueling work and don't have the luxury of going to school.

  • Only ignorant in developed countries critisize their parents for letting them work instead of sending their children to school.

  • Brick making is a task that doesn't require skill. Some parents ask their children to do the easy tasks in this industry to make more money. It's similar in Afghanistan too. Children don't have a choice. It's a sign of economic growth.

  • US had child labor. that would be why child labor laws were passed.

  • 5 oclock hometime... lucky... i work til 530

  • So which is worse - working your ass off 12 hours a day or watching your family literally starving to death?

  • sweeden

  • I visited this factory this year and was lucky enough to meet these inspirational children. The issue of child labour is more complicated than it looks. These children are working because if they dont their families dont eat but that doesnt make it ok. There was a three year old girl working and when you look at her you cannot help but think that she has no future. IF, she survives and grows up, she will be working there for the rest of her life. This is nothing though compaired to that in India

  • Australia?

  • These kids need to unionize!

  • both had slavery - which is worse cuz that INCLUDES child labor
