Minecraft elevator--Super easy!

Just a SUPER SIMPLE minecraft elevator. Requires one sticky piston one redstone torch and one lever! Doesn't always work for somereason but if it works for you its AMAZING! D1SEL and I found this out by me squishing him in a piston door and it shot him up to the top block. His Channel is TutorialMinecraft

help, whenever i do this it pushed me to the side, and when i block the sides im stuck in a block and i start dying, do you have to do it on multiplayer?
