Omg is it really 1k for the tax? How the fuck can they do that? It makes no sense to tax someone for not buying something? I thought only products and services bought could be taxed. Will not buying gas and other products and services be taxed as well?

@eric5335 America is spending three times as much per capita on healthcare than most nations that have government sponsored/ subsidised/ run healthcare, despite the fact that not everybody has health insurance. That means that people who are ACTUALLY getting health care are spending far more than three times. With this much being spent, one would expect far MORE in the sphere of medical breakthroughs than what they are achieving at the moment,but they are spending more on advertising instead.
