Budgie bath

My mother is giving my budgie a bath. It's shaking the water off like a dog :) The name of the song is "If" by Kim Novak. You can find them on myspace. Will somebody give them a record deal?

I don't know, the best thing to do is to put a water recipient near it's cage so it can go in it whenever it wants to I guess :)

a ball of table tennis, to get him under the water tap in the beginning :) now he goes under it without other objects ;-)

hahah my sun conure loves to shower/bathe in the sink i leave the tap running and it sits under the tap drinks the water and dunks itself in the water

My budgie has a small bowl of water close to his cage and takes a bath almost everyday.

@hamrok1 I wonder what store told you that, petsmart or petco? Budgies should take a bath once a week but of course they all have different personalities. Some might like to do a couple times a week, some might only take a bath once a month. My parakeet Gary loves to take a bath in his little yellow tub once a week. I can tell when it's been too long too because he'll start getting a little itchy. If anybody needs any advice on parakeets, feel free to send me a message.

YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO LET THEM HAVE A BIRD BATH PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­! THEY CAN CLEAN BY THEIRSELVES WITH THEIR BEAKS!!!!!!!!! EVEN MY BRID STORE SAYS IT ALSO!!!!!!! ONLY USE WATER FOR THEM TO DRINK AND WASH THEIR MOUTHS!
