The bass is quite a bit lower in the mono mix.

What is the difference between the mono version of this and the stereo version. I am used to hearing stereo. I think I hear a little difference in echo, but I'm not really an audiophile and can't tell. Does it really sound that different?

Paul's Bass in the stereo version seems louder ,and there'sdifferent vocal echo.

Paperback Writer/Rain is probably the best Beatles single record there is. IMO.

These two songs are I think the ones that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Paul and Ringo were a killer bassist/drummer combo.
