@ieatlotsoftoast If you are referring that The Chi-Lites copied this from UB40-it's the other way around. The lead singer of this group-Eugene Record-wrote this and almost all of their songs (especially their hits) as well as this group recorded this back in 1974. UB40 covered this in the late 80's...

I saw some idiot on Britains got Talent trying to sing falsetto like the Stylistics and it brought the Chi-Lites to mind, I absolutely loved this song and it still sounds as great now. Thanks for posting.
