I've used it before, very effective. One addition to it, if you see the opportunity you can hook his other arm with your legs, the dive still works but once your roll is completed the choke is much easier.

THATS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen Leo Viera do this multiple times. I always thought it was something he did just on the spot instead of a real technique.
I think I'll get a little better at the basic stuff before I move on to this though.

@bmac7152 - you have no idea what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is do you? Like none at all. How is it back there in 1993, the food good?

First of all, i love your videos and they have helped my ground game tremendously. However when ever i try this move on some one who has alot of experiance, when they come over they block the hooks imediately. They usually end up in my half gaurd.
Do you have any suggestions?

I like this move. It's worked well for me so far.

@bmac7152 Yes, with both hooks set ready for the choke. Not to mention the four points you just scored in a grappling competition... But thanks for your input...

You would probably need to use a different counter.

I like your videos but I disagree with this one. This is not a good technique. You're required to use a lot of power to get him over. Also, the turtle can grab the arm deep on the shoulder and just pin the shoulder on the ground. The guy rolls over and works every time. If the 2-on-1 is lower, where is arm is pulled across the torso, you have more control of his upper body. I've even been able to sit into my hook (the left leg for this example).

Fair enough- you don't have to like them all. Just take what works and leave what doesnt.
