Hi there,
We used to refer to Newmarket Tunnel but the correct name is Warren Hill, this being the site for a long disused station for the race course.
In those days they Cambridge-Ipswich line was usualy worked by a cravens class 101 except for the very rare footx pulled by a class 37 with a spare set from the Kings Lynn line.
As a matter of interest I collect synths too.
can send you a studio list if you are interested
nothing rare/ some classics
keep in touch
Shaun,.

just a great layout and the kind of thing i am into. BR blue rules!
Used to live at Ipswich during the mid 70s and 80s and knew those stratford machines well. could the tunnel be a hint of Newmarket? Love the sound fx. DCC birds? LOL -:)

Thanks for the comment. Its only a small section of the layout. Started building March last year. Just had a fantastic gantry made by Roger Murray that now needs wiring. Weekend project some time i think!

Lovely vid; gorgeous scenery and love the rolling stock too. Is there more?

There will be as time goes on. That's the far end of the layout. The station is just a platform at the moment and the depot is coming on a bit more. As you know these things take time
