@adroitredtiger I read abotu a recent study that found that the harshest of cuss words actually help people deal with stress and pain. They had people hold their arms in ice as long as they could. Those who screamed "fuck!" lasted much longer than those who had to yell words like "Table!"

I served two tours as a DI. Cussing went on. It doesn't make or break the training I had DIs that never cursed, not because of it was in the SOP but because they simply didn't curse. They still could stress recruits out also. I NEVER saw a DI get NJP for cursing. At the most they'd be taken aside and talked to, and that was only if they were stupid enough to do it in front of everybody, especially civilians on the base. my favorite saying was profanity is a crutch for an ignorant motherfucker.

@greenmonsterfilm I read this as well but it does not work for people that curse alot on a daily basis only for thos that hardly do it.
