The City of Seattle recently won the Governor's Award for best Large Public Employer of the Year. This is the second time in the last 10 years the City has won this award. Both times, the honor was in large part a recognition of the efforts of Heather Weldon and her path breaking work in job development for people with developmental disabilities. Her leadership and innovation in this field has garnered both national and international attention, with many cities seeking to emulate her work and success. In this video, Heather is congratulated by Seattle's new Mayor, Mike McGinn and some of the supported employees at the City of Seattle get a chance to speak. This is part 3 of 3.
