Stand By Me Chapter 1

After I got pregnant with the hottest guy in the grade, I was pulled out of Public school by my own mother. I was 14 years old,and my baby Ella died during delivery. It is now 2 years passed. Today is my 1st day back into Public school, at West Valley high. My name is Micah Baldwin. My alarm beeped several times before I awoke to the annoying damn thing. I slammed down onto the snooze, and started to fall back asleep, when I got a text from my baby's supposed to be dad Joe.

Text from Joe:"Morning beautiful! I can't wait to see you today on your first day back(: I'll pick you up in 45 minutes. I love you"
I smiled at the text, and set down my phone. I ran through the warm shower, and then did my hair and make up, I chose a pair of black skinny jeans, a tank top, converse, and a jacket to wear today. When I was done getting ready I ran downstairs and sat at the table for breakfast.
Mom:Morning Honey, Are you excited for your first day?
Micah: Definatly.
And, I was. But I was scared too. What will people think of me, as of now? I heard Joe's old Chevy Pick-up truck pull into my driveway, followed with a honk. I set down my toast, gulped down a glass of Orange Juice, kissed my mom on the cheek, and bolted out the door. Joe was ready at the passenger side of the car. He hugged me lightly and kissed my forehead.
Joe:You look beautiful today.
I blushed, as he opened my door, and I hopped in. I sat in awkward silence when Joe got into the car, and started the engine. I turned on the radio and layed my head back on the seat and sighed. Joe looked at me concerned.
Joe:What's wrong baby?
Micah:Nervous.
Joe:You nervous? Whaaaat? *Sarcastic*
I lightly smacked his arm, and laughed.
Micah:What if everyone hates me?
Joe:How could anyone hate you?
Micah:Uh, hello! I left in the middle of the school year pregnant, lost my baby, and didn't return till now.
Joe: That was back in 9th grade. We're in 11th. Everyone will have forgotten about it now, Besides, who cares what people think Micah? Your perfect the way you are.
I smiled at him slyly. He pulled into the school parking lot, as we both got out, 100 differnt eyes were automatically on us. I looked down, avoiding any eye contact with people I used to know. I could feel Joe put his arm around my waist, and chuckle. We got inside the halls, he pulled my chin up to look at him.
Joe:Remember, don't listen to what everyone thinks. *Smiles*
I nodded and grabbed his hand. We started walking, and was stopped in our path by....

Hi guys(: I'm back to writing!!! (: I'm super duper happy. This series pretty much only consists of Micah and Joe, plus other characters that will come up later.
