I make $15 an hr o/n. Been there almost five yrs. Hate it but like I said, $15.

yea i agree i make almost 10 an hour have been there for for almost 4 years and i like what i do but the management and the things that they make you do are just unbeliveably stupid, I made like uner 10 thousand a year working for mcdonalds but making anywhere from 18-20 thousand a year now... and its enough for me and my son to get by

actually the only people who are guranteed at least 40 hours is overnight stockers at walmart :-)

Yeah, NOW it's $7.25, does that make it any better no? And to answer your question, it was because it's the only job I could get in this shitty god forsaken town at the time. Like a post below said, it's just something til something better comes along.

Sounds like when I worked at pizza hut 50+ hour weeks doing the work of 3 people, and I couldn't even get a drink for free although the managers who did less than 1/10th the work I did got whatever they wanted for free. I'm sorry but 7.xx an hour isn't enough to put up with that, it's no wonder why I left.

Walmart is what it is. It is simply a get-by-job until one can do better. Take it or leave it. Out-sourcing+ low waged assocites= Low everyday prices and staggering annual profits. It is a win win. They are not ashamed in the least on either point. They are the biggest bully on the block right now, but every bully has it's day! Clap- clap- stomp-stomp, whoooo!
