Natalie Portman appears on The View to talk about FINCA International, a microfinance organization. Natalie is co-chair, along with Queen Rania of Jordan, of the FINCA Village Banking Campaign with the goal of creating a 100,000 new village banks in the poorest countries of the world by 2010.

Yeah but 2 dollars a day could be alot if your currency is backed by a tangible asset or has a strict anti-inflationary policy. Unfortunatley no country on earth is fiscally responsible besides maybe Australia or New Zealand.

I know there are rules about going naked in public because of "indecent exposure", but I think the law should be tweaked a bit, so Natalie Portman can be allowed to go naked in public if she ever wanted to. Anyone on board with that idea? Besides, is the thought of Natalie walking around outside naked really "indecent"?

This is a wonderful video; Natalie does a great job of very succinctly telling us about a very big problem and introducing one possible solution that's put forward very good results thus far. At the very least, it's a place to start research so we the public, wondering where the heck to start looking for facts, have figures, organizations, and ideas to look into.
