insted of G and do all the semi breves articulating just 'who' to get your diaphragm going. Then when you start on the minums articlulate alternately ku tu for the reast of the exercise giving full commitment to the diaphragm making sure that it is all diaphragm work not costal muscles at all to although heaps use a three stage breath control this warm up is to get grunt and get the resonance into the lower notes middle D and D#. After low Bb then jump up to G and work your way up to middle D.
