  • Louisville is a lame ass town. I mean town too because the people there act as if they live in a small town. Louisville is one ass backwards place and I say that as a native of the area who has traveled elsewhere. Not to mention the dumbasses that run the town and locals who act like they've never been anywhere else.

  • For those of us that want to raise our familes in a Louisville with a vibrant, diverse and growing economy the terribly designed downtown ORBP is nothing short of civic suicide.

  • Louisville has the potential to be the next mid-size boomtown i.e. Austin or Charlotte. However, our city's incompetent leadership is planning to toll its citizens to build a $3 billion dollar infrastructure project that will build 100 year ramps that exclusively connect to a 1950s style elevated waterfront expressway. Meanwhile we are building a $1/4 billion dollar tunnel to protect a few politically connected families' suburban estates.

  • @WhisperSweetNothings The fact that, despite all of this, you still think my city is nothing more than a collection of toothless hillbillies shows just how ignorant you are of the world. On other hand, I hope that you do eventually make it to Louisville. I would enjoy seeing you be thrown into the Ohio River by the angry mob you created when you tried to act "like a god to the locals" In conclusion, its pronounced Loo-uh-vulle, asshole, and I say it with fierce pride.

  • @WhisperSweetNothings ....and while were on the subject, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Tom Cruise are just a few of the actors and actresses that Kentucky has given to the world. Then there is, of course, the Kentucky Derby. The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports. Mint Juleps, expensive suits, big hats. The postcard of Southern sophistication. I could go on, but I think I have made my point.

  • @WhisperSweetNothings ...artificial heart transplant, the world's first hand transplant, and the world's first effective cervical cancer vaccine, the development of the Pap's Smear test, the world's first blood bank, and the world's first ER on it's long list of accomplishments. Did I mention that it's a State University? Every year, Actor's Theatre of Louisville plays host to the Humana Festival of New American Plays, an internationally acclaimed new-play festival that lasts six weeks.....

  • @WhisperSweetNothings- Pronouncing a word a certain way shows a lack of education? What a horridly prejudice, ignorant thing to say. I am a Louisville native and a former JCPS student, and I find your arrogant assumptions to be very offensive. The public high school I attended, duPont Manual, has the second highest standardized test scores in the country; kinda hard to do that when we supposedly can't spell. The University of Louisville Health Sciences Center can count the world's first.....

  • These ads are making me hate Louisville. I wonder if that was the point?

  • Don't worry, I'm from Louisville && I live there & I think it's boring. We don't have anything special. So yeah, I agree with you. I wanna move to LA or Atlanta or something.

  • I agree! Mi barrio in Washington Heights is quieter!
