This is a HF VTTC in Base Fed configuration. It is an Audiomod again, but this time i used a transformer in the line to Grid 2 istead of a Transistor or a Tube. This produces better Audio and much louder Output. Funny thing is, that i do not really know why. I think it is because of the Current but i am not sure! Normally you would need a high power Amplifier, which is really large to power the device. But to make it smaller, i used a TDA to amplify the input Signal, so that the transformer had a nice Output. The hum you can hear through the whole vid is the heater transformer which is a MOT.

=) The Link to the schematic is in the description and if you want to know any further details just ask. I have ordered a few TDA7294 and LM3886 to try to operate the transformer in bridge operation for louder & better sound.

I am sorry but i do not speak russian, although i have basic knowledge of the cyrillic alphabet.

  • @sOxxable I prefer to build SSTC, cause I have no MOT and transformer for el. lamp's heater. Here's mine old audiomodulated SSTC :

    /watch?v=Ateb-sGs3SE

(My smartphone's microphone is a little bit weak, so make the sound louder). It can be louder, there was just two transistors for sound amplifiing, after buinding half-bridge SSTC, i'll make Hi-Fi plasma stereo system with TDA operat. amplifiers.

And i know english a bit, so things cool.

    : )
