This really does not work; tone quality is brittle and his technique won't pull of this Debussy piece. Want to hear it done well? Christopher Parkening really plays it well.

I have most of Johnny Smith's output and this is one of my favourites. Lin plays it very well - patiently and methodically. He makes it look easy, whereas anyone who plays guitar to anything approaching this standard, knows it isn't. I don't think the average listener realises quite how much hard work and dedication goes into something like this. Well done Lin - more please!

Hey, that's really beautiful! I've heard loads of players try this one, but never with your delicate sense of touch and control. Well done. You play it in different places than I've seen before, too. Is this how Johnny Smith played it? Nice.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been analysing Johnny Smith's recordings and trying to figure out how/where he played his arrangements, as it's integral to the smooth flow of his playing. I've got several more to upload, once I overcome my technophobia.
