  • Steelpicker, did Buddy ever record "Touch My Heart"? What is he doing now? Thank you.

  • Yes Buddy did record Touch My Heart way back. I don't know what album.

Buddy is retired and still living in Nashville.

  • Hey Marc,

Well I assume you like the big "E" hehe

You are welcome that I have been able to post these videos. Buddy is gracious in letting me release some of the video I have taken over the years. MORE to come.

  • God Buddy ha the best tone EVER! He invented a lot of effects for Steel playing but also knew how to play without any of that! I have to watch this at least 2 times a day!!!!!!!

  • Years ago a Peavy rep was in a music store I worked at and was telling about being at a show with Buddy. They were in the bar and Buddy says without the derby most people wouldn't know who I am. So John puts Buddys derby on and in a little while people start coming over for autographs and taking pics and Buddy is sitting there watching and about to fall off the bar stool! Emmons was full of stuff like this!

  • I just reread the comments and I have a comment about a year too late.I did see and hear buddy miss once at the 1977 convention in st. louis and that was to his own intro to "four wheel drive".He laughed harder than anyone.that's one of the things I really liked about him personally. He can laugh at his own mistakes.

  • HELL Im not sure whos first the late John H or Emmons. There both tops.

  • Sa-moooth! 1:18 just kills me!
