@aldoreshgaramok Actually, I think they call him racist because in his newsletter he said "95% of all blacks in DC are criminals" "we should shoot the animals" and a lot of other things that are pretty racist. Also, Libertarians are leftist anarchists- socially liberal, economically liberal (dems are social lib econ con, GOP is social con econ lib). So technically Ron Paul is a member of the left (with several personal views leaning to the right).

They called him racist because in his newsletter, some black pseudo-intellectual suggested that New York City be renamed after Martin Luther King Jr., and one of the writers in his newsletter offered an alternative name of "Welfaria." I didn't find that racist; I actually found that quite humorous and true. But to be fair, it certainly was a racist thing to say, because the new definition of racist is "something the left disagrees with."
