How to fix the Canon Pixma iP1500 "Waste Ink Absorber Full" error - Part 2

Hi Thanks for the video. I did everything you said and when I went to print (and yes I put in a new black ink cartridge) nothing but paper with no print came out? What may be the problem.

@Thunderstruck1330 You may need to run the print head cleaning or print head deep cleaning found in the Maintenance menu of your printer settings.

Used this video to reset the Waste Ink Absorber. Works great now. I didn't clean the absorbers, so let's see how long it'll work before I have to do the big disassembly in Part 1.

My name is Neusa and English is not my first language,so I couldn’t fix my canon (print)as you describe in the video.

I made de part 1, but in the part-2 it didn’t work.

My questions are:

In iP 1500 service tool-the printer should be on or off ?, because if it is off the platen doesn’t work.

And after everything done,do I need unplug the power again?(You speak so fast to me and I didnt understand).

I got everything put back together fine, I thought. It feeds paper only half way, then stops and says I have a paper jam. Also, I get Service Error 6000. What do ya think?

no..you remove the plug, wait 5 minuts for the circuits to cool down..then plug.
