@ginad1989 as a canadian i have to agree. In my gym class not manyof us can go international competition cus we dont have the money and the the club isnt able to give money.
orlando is a true inspiration so is lori fung

@guiy16 Orlando probably didn't attend as many competitions as Zhukova because the Canadian government does not pour a lot of money into gymnastics by any means. Its really quite expensive to travel from Canada to Europe for every elite competition. I know Orlando didn't have the difficulties as many of the Eastern European gymnasts but she's a shining star for Canadian gymnastics :)

@guiy16 true there are galas to dance to but i think orlando was trying to prove a point by not stopping her routine.
But then again I guesse that people do prefer to stop completly because they think is pointless but orlando she was proud of herself and I guesse she just didn't want to stop.
If it was me I would have continued, Id rather finish what I started.

Its bravery. And you have no right saying hat orlando isnt elite, Because i havent seen a single "elite" gymnast doing arials and 5 windmeal turns.

yes but she can continiue her routine without ribbon!!!!she is proffesional she can just dance for the crowd!(i know that when you broke the appararuse you take 0)!!!!

i cant belive in my eyes i have never broke my ribbon and inna zhukova did T0T!!!and i cant belive that she didnt finish her program for god shake she is inna zhukova and she even dont finish her program!!!!!!even alex orlando finish her program!!!i cant belive it i am realy desaponted!:'(

its under the rules that if a gymnast breaks any apparatus, its a 0.
