Like i said, he had just turned seven - probably around 50-55lbs.

We continue to work regularly and he has improved much since.

I still dont think he is ready for competition - and even if he does decide he really wants it, i probably wont have him fight but a few times a year.

....I didnt start boxing until i was 10 and first bout until 11. Ive seen thousands of kids come and go. Its not until the teen years that you can begin to tell who will stick with it and how they will develop.

This video was never intended to be a showcase event - but rather a progression of videos to show his improvement over time. I plan to post another one within the next few months.

i see good potential. teach him to bring his right arm back immediately after he lands the jab (sort of like a spring); it'll make his jabs much more quicker and will help him become better as he gets older, since jabs are an underrated and underutilized punch.

great work jr, keep up the training. My son is also training, his name is zion Gee. Maybe one day you guys will meet in the ring because he is also training hard three days a week, two hour sessions. His weight is 60p, age 8 as of two weeks ago. Again keep up the good work your looking good.

This kids going to be strong when he gets older. It' s good to see that you guys are keeping him fit and giving him a way to let off some of that kid energy in a good healthy way. Boxing is one of the most intense discipline building sports.
