@emr3413 first of all thanks for the punk compliment. and second melody starts at 00:18. at the beggining she getting a feel of what to play. and at 1:08 she plays an amazingly melodic riff. i don't know the notes as I never studied music theory. but as a musician it's melodic jam. not the easiest melody to detect or poppiest but on the second listen you get it. if you don't then i just feel bad for you.

probably worth noting that there's either some really brutal AGR (automatic gain reduction) going on on the camera, or some really awful compression at the board... it's making my ears seasick. that's interfering with my appreciation of this song, which is normally quite high.

I saw this performance. Kaki used to be drummer, hence the more rhythmic techniques on the guitar. Sure, it may not have been like the rest of the performers, but she's amazing at what she's developed for herself.
