The Trews cover of Neil Young's song Come on Baby Let's Go Downtown. I take absolutely no credit for this, all credit goes to The Trews and the original artist Neil Young & Crazy Horse.

This was from a CD of Canadian artists covering Neil Young songs called Borrowed Tunes II.

  • The Trews are a great talent, and have a deep respect for where they came from, and those that came before them. This is a great tip of the hat to the great Neil Young, by the flag bearers for modern day Canadian rock....

Go see them live, it is a great experience.

  • @openliquor Couldn't agree with you more. I saw them do an acoustic show last year and it was fantastic. It was just after Remembrance Day, and they brought the house down with Highway of Heroes.

  • This cover suck and it's not a Neil Young's song, it's a Crazy Horse Danny Whitten's song.

  • @Pinkertism You're entitles to your opinion on the first part (although I disagree). You are wrong on the second part. The song was written by Whitten and Young and was first performed live by Neil Young & Crazy Horse in 1970 on a Neil Young live album. Hence, there is nothing wrong with it being called a Neil Young song.

  • this is on the borrowed tunes II album

  • @TheTroubledTroubador I know, I said that in the description. :)
