I just put on this Thrush Turbo muffler and I'm pretty happy with the results. The muffler was $30, sounds a lot nicer than the factory style muffler that was on there, but isn't that loud. This video makes it sound a lot louder than it actually is. But it has a pretty nice tone to it. Not bad for factory style single exhaust and a cheap muffler anyway.

Factory manifold - 1 7/8 pipe - thrush turbo - 1 3/4 tailpipe

  • first car I ever drove in America, a purple rented 1970 duster with a 225 slant six, I drove it endlessly around the Bay/ King / Yonge st area in Toronto with Karen Carpenter on the FM. Spent half of my money paying the rental co and yes wouldn´t you know that 41 years later i am now looking for a ´70 duster slant six auto, must be factory original and complete , some interior or corrosion issues no problem but no rust outs or clapped out cars...

  • Good Sound which model is the muffler i had a Plymouth Volare 1980 and i want my car sounds like your Plymouth Duster

  • Sounds good. I had a 1970 Duster 225, back in 1980. Wish I'd hung on to it.
