The Dead Dog is the name given to the party the night after the convention is over. One last bash before everyone has to go home. And usually, everyone goes CRAZY. I always get some of my best footage out of the Dead Dog parties at cons, and since Anthrocon does everything bigger and better, this year was no exception.

HOWEVER, most of the really entertaining stuff is in Part 2. Which I have yet to render out. I'm not in a rush to upload it, and I may have some videos between now and then. Just stay tuned.

  • Who was that with the laptop at the end of the video?

  • @Kfo00793 That was Renard.

  • @OreoTheWolf how long does the Dead Dog party go on?

  • @timd941 From closing ceremonies until the hotel says we need to pack it up.

  • @OreoTheWolf it sounded like it was an all-nighter until the Westin had to crash the party! Uhh, does it have rules on when you have to be quiet because of everyone else sleeping because Great Wolf Lodge has an 11:00 rule to be quiet. Maybe the Westin has a rule like that but maybe an hour or two later.

  • @timd941 They kick us out of the convention center. All the party stuff happens in the ballrooms in the hotel. There isn't a noise rule, though we usually have to pack it up by 2 or 3 AM because con organizers are trying to pack all their equipment up. The Dead Dog is never scheduled, and relies entirely on volunteers.

  • @OreoTheWolf Wow that's a pretty long time if the closing ceremonies are at 5.

  • @OreoTheWolf and I think the hotel (westin) is in the convention center, just like there's a Hyatt at the Chicago O-Hare airport (as a matter of fact, that's where MidwestFurFest is this year).

  • 09:05 HOW THE HECK ;O

  • 8:23 MG Everybody Have From Eeryone Living Sofa :D
