I miss my cavemen...

I had one of these years ago! Awesome. People don't realize how annoying that sound is at 5 in the morning. I remember showing off my clock to friends and they all would say things like "That'd never wake me up" and I would always say, "You'd be surprised. It's very effective."

I just bought one 3 minutes ago for about 4 dollars at a cheap thrift store. Lucky, am I not? Wake up to this every day.

My sister bought me one of these clocks from a Spencer's gifts 10 years ago. I was a stupid kid, and just *had* to know how it worked, and took it apart.
She paid $20 or so for it (in the USA), and I have regretted destroying that clock to this day. They are RARE as a monkey that poops gold. I was able to find ONE on eBay about 1.5 years ago, and put in my bid of $70 (for an old $20 item, I assumed I would win).... It sold for $350.
If you're willing to part with yours ever, let me know.

I lived/worked in japan for 3 years and this clock and several like it were available at toy stores, but I didnt buy one. :( After getting back to USA, I looked for a couple of years on and off for this thing. I eventually found it on ebay. They are extremely hard to find,...and not cheap! Good luck in ur search!

That's what I figured!! I've been looking on E-bay for a while now to no avail. I wish I still had my original one, as my EX girfriends daughter broke it while playing with it.
