  • This probably won't be seen in games for about 5 years

  • he said 26-45 frames, so 20 heads in the scene would be like 5?

  • I love how all hair rendering demos now have basically just given up attempting to be realistic and just go with what looks nice.

  • Personally I think things like clothing, hair, and objects attached to a character moving realistically is the next step after mainstream games reach Crysis' level of character detail. It will make much more of an impact then just adding more polygons to make a character look even better.

  • PhysX isn't pointless. It's the way Nvidia wants to implement it that's pointless. Instead of working towards an open standard to improve gaming as a whole they try and exploit a feature, that is too small to exploit, for their own benefit. People won't buy a card for PhysX as it's just a small feature and developers won't code for it without incentives as it's an Nvidia-only feature and people don't want it that bad.

  • They're bascially showing how pointless PhysX is, here.

  • I wanna see this in blender 3d

  • Nice physics but i'm curious how this hair react with water :P

  • @mrjimmyos Yop but its fucking awesome :D
