After listening to the SFC version, and this version, for me this version is the better one. The pizzicato pluckings between 1:07 - 1:18 really add a nice touch that was absent in the original.

@Kaediths Actually, your thoughts are right. This does first play at the haunted mansion. Actually, it's a castle. But it IS a pretty dang good song.

You're right but I personally prefer the Symphonic Suite version of this to the Symphonic Suite Monsters in the Dungeon. Both are very good compositions nonetheless. ^_^
