I met Norma and Emile in East York today while handing out pamplets for the Federal Election. It seems that Emile was also a pupil at College Mathieu in Gravelbourg Saskatchewan as I did, although he went I was a student there 27 years before I went. They were lovely people.

@Eurofrank1 I too was a contemporary of Norma Burrowes at the R.A.M. Often I sat enthralled in the Dukes Hall whenever she sang thinking if only we pianist could shape melodic line as magically.

@TheReturnOfStephan1 I remember Norma fondly from Glyndebourne yonks ago. I've ended up in deepest Nova Scotia, and fancy her being in Toronto. I hope she is well and happy.........................

It's my understanding that she's currently a member of the vocal faculty at York University in Toronto, Ontario.
