  • @itwasmem8 Cheers! I cant understand why people still thinking of buying.. mid october 'prime time' spring auction clearance rate in Syd metro this weekend was 49% according to residex. SMH pushing threat of high rents again but no mention of dismal auction results.. KEEN FOR PM! lol

  • Ive been following steven keen for a few years now, I think his a economic genius, Australians do not want to admit how foolish they have been with rushing to buy houses, having a home loan is the quickest way to the poor house.

  • @itwasmem8 You can always tell when the property market is in a bubble. Just watch the number of houses going to auction. The reason is that the realestate agents know that they wont sell the house so they tell the seller to do an auction so that they can atleast get the auction fee from the seller.

  • Yeah, went to big action last week and 8 of 10 properties passed in. And yeah keen is right about the gov grants keeping the bubble inflated.
