"Rabbit Williams" Maya 3D Character Animation, "Robin Williams", "Mrs Doubtfire"

Hi friends, long time no post :)

Here is one of my last creations. I'm currently working hard to improve my animation and lip sync skills, so as to get a job (soon, I hope!) on an animation pipeline, movie or game.

The extract is from the movie Mrs. Doubtfire (©20th Century Fox), starring Robin Williams. I apologize for the non-frenchee. I only had and worked on the french version of this extract, though I like better the original one! Robin is just irreplaceable ;)

The rabbit model (Rabbit 1.2.0) is a free rig that you can find on http://creativecrash.com. Try it yourself, it's really easy and funny to manipulate and make it speak :)

As usual, I did the animation in Maya and the editing in After Effect. The jazz piece at the end is a free music from http://soundsnap.com

I called this video "Nath's MTA" (Movie To Animation), since I'm planing to create more animations like this, using free rigs to shoot funny or famous movie extracts.

As always, comments are most welcome. Also, let me know which movie extract you'd like to see me animate, I'll have a look at it ;)

Could you do a tutorial on how to make characters? I did a character in class but now i dont know how to structure the face. I already have the anatomy set up well i just got stuck with that.

@BAP3221 well, I could but this isn't really my cup of tea. I'm more specialising into character animation right now. Have you seen my Making of Couette on youtube ? It's a good sum up of how to create a character

Good idea, but that would be soooo much lipsync work if I wanted to do the whole extract... Robin can talk ;)
