@EvilKorbinDallas True. Did you see Warhorse? It was the worst movie I've ever seen about World War I. All the British soldiers were noble hearted heros, while most Germans were portrayed as cackling Nazi cartoon villains. Such an incredible disappointment.

The Edelweiss flower became a symbol for Waffen SS Alpine divisions in WWII and was made into a metal badge to be worn on the left side of their mountain caps. Also an Edelweiss patch sewn onto their caps. BUT here the English Translation of this song: Very lonely and
