It is different, yes. Besides no woman allowed in infantry, they train in what is called OSUT.. One station unit training. Basically, instead of doing 9 weeks and then graduating and moving on to a different place with more freedoms.. Infantry training differs because you spend about 17 weeks with the same drill sgts the whole time. It's the toughest recruit training the army has.
